A.S.M. Waheeduzzaman began shaping a life of service and leadership in 1964.

A.S.M. Waheeduzzaman began his journey in public service on January 2, 1964, in Jamalpur, Bangladesh. After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dhaka in 1989, he joined IFIC Bank in 1992 and was promoted to Senior Officer within two years. In 1995, he joined the BCS (Tax) cadre. In 2011, he became First Secretary at the Bangladesh Embassy in Tashkent and later served as Counselor and Charge d’Affaires. Returning in 2015, he rose to Additional Tax Commissioner and Director at the BCS (Tax) Academy. He has represented Bangladesh internationally and is a devoted husband and father of two.

Diplomatic Service in Tashkent

In November 2011, A.S.M. Waheeduzzaman joined the Bangladesh Embassy in Tashkent as First Secretary. Later, he served as Counselor for three years and as Charge d’Affaires for six months with great competence. During this period, he also held concurrent responsibilities as Charge d’Affaires of Bangladesh in Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

In 2011, A.S.M. Waheeduzzaman earned an MBA degree with a focus on Health Management. In 2012 and 2013, he further enhanced his knowledge in the same field at Westminster University, London (Tashkent Campus).

A.S.M. Waheeduzzaman is a respected public servant and diplomat with extensive experience in tax administration and international representation.

Waheeduzzaman also served as First Secretary and Counselor at the Bangladesh Embassy in Tashkent, representing the country in Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, and gaining valuable international diplomatic experience.
